Ann Arbor---Hayward relatives

Here's my nephew Rod, his wife, Sharon, & my 2 great nephews Joshua & Ben. I was delinquent in taking photos. I arrived Saturday evening & left Monday. I was so busy chatting that I didn't pay attention & some of the few photos I did take are poor quality.

Here we are watching the World Cup Soccer final
Game.

I had been traveling "old school" with paper maps. It hadn't been such a problem because I was traveling city to city. When I went to Diana's she's on a highway. But I had a hard time finding
Ann Arbor & then finding a resident address. Look at me, the Haywards gave me a GPS. I am now officially registered in the 21st Century.

One of the things I love about Sharon's & Rodney's house is that it is so physically & spiritually comfortable. I recognize a lot of the objects d'art are from organizations helping people in third world countries & they (wither Rod & Sharon or the objects) are so cool on their own! I'm drinking coffee & when I actually wake up & look at my mug, "Like what you do. Do what you like," is on it. I like this basket of instruments they have on their coffee table.

Didn't stop in Chicago. But here's a photo as I drove by---have been there several times & would like to go again but for an extended stay.

  1. Congratulations on the GPS! Now, not only will you know where you are, you can tell people just where to go! ;)
