Arrived in Lafayette, Louisiana Thursday night. It was great to see my daughter Heather & my son-in-law Chris! Will put in Lafayette photos later. Friday bought 4 new tires. Saturday morning Heather & I left for Tupelo, Mississippi to see the house where Elvis was born & his church. After all thee desert it was great to see green along the highway. I turned the car radio on as an nnouncer was introducing a blues program, He implored the audience, “Put your hand on the radio & feel it. Put your hand on the radio & feel it.” The first song he played was aabout fishing. The chorus went “Some say it’s bad luck to take a woman fishing. But I think it’s good luck to take a woman anywhere."
