Jeanne slept in & Jake & I walked over to Cafe du Monde where I had dark roasted coffee with chicory & beignets. Part of my annual New Orleans ritual as well as going to Commander's Palace. Later in the morning we drove around The Garden District then went for an absolutely fabulous lunch with 25 cent Cosmopolitans (Jeanne had 3) at Commander's Palace. Chef Troy is fantastic & I'm never disappointed. That afternoon we hung out at the pool at the Omni. It's the highest point in The French Quarter. That night we went to Bourbon Street.
