Met a couple of actors from my stomping grounds in Montana. The streets were packed with tourists and locals in costumes. On going scenes & gunfights were constantly going on in one section of the street. There were stagecoach, covered wagons and trolley tours. Had a great time.

Here's the courtroom where Wyat Earp & Doc Holiday were tried (the courthouse gallows that were not used on them), the stables of the OK Corral, the alley where the fight took place, the Marshall's Office & the house of the lawyer who got them both off. The headline of the Tombstone Epitaph the next day read:
YESTERDAY'S TRAGEDY
Three Men hurried into
Eternity
This was pretty much the unchanging Arizona view until I reached Tucson.
Got caught up on the latest country/western songs on the radio. I was brought up on those in Montana. I remember when Patsy Cline had the first million dollar hit by a woman, I want to be a Cowboy's Sweetheart. I did too. I didn't have any ill feelings against Dale, but if I could just get to LA, I knew Roy & Trigger & I could be very happy.
Someone called & said I didn't have a post for 2 days. "Get real, my friends" as the Dos XX man would say. I don't stay where there's Y Fi every night, Last night my camera"s batteries & I were
exhausted. I bought new batteries for the trip so I thought exhausted meant they were recharging, not so.
I loved Tombstone. Jake was a hit there. We stayed WAY too long so I didn't get into Sante Fe until 10:30! Will try to get some batteries today but with the holiday, who knows.
